Making Someone's Holiday a Little Brighter

Here are some different opportunities that have been brought to my attention that I would love to share with you. There are many more options out there in your neighborhood to give-back, choose what's best for you.

Toys for Tots

All Edward Jones Offices around the WestSound have a Toys for Tot Collection Box. Stop by the Edward Jones office in your neighbor hood and donate an unwrapped new toy for a boy or girl. Most donations are due by mid-December. Check with your local Edward Jones office to see when their deadline is for accepting donations.

Toys for Tots

Cook Family Funeral Home has been a huge Toys for Tots participant for decades. See their 2 flyers with information below.

Give the Gift of Hearing

Hear for Life Audiology would love to give the gift of Hearing to someone this Holiday Season. See the flyer below with all the details.

Be A Santa to a Senior

Home Instead Senior Care sponsors a program each year called Be a Santa to a Senior. The purpose of the program is to positively impact our community by providing Christmas cheer to seniors who are least likely to receive a gift during the Christmas season. See flyer below.

Project Holiday

The Personal Touch Senior Care team adopts a school with the neediest children each year, and the principal provides them the list of the children and their needs and wants.  There are usually 6 items on the list and they would like that all items are bought.  Usually people go in together on these items.  This year The Personal Touch has also added some Special Needs Seniors from Easter Seals Day Camp to the list.   Please contact Nita Wilson and let her know if you are willing to help out by sponsoring a child or a senior and getting Christmas gifts for them this year. Contact Nita Wilson to arrange drop-off or pick-up. 360-981-1400
